About This List
- Companies marked TankVault Company use TankVault and chose to be listed. They show first.
- The rest come from the state’s public list of septic maintenance companies. In Florida, that is the Department of Environmental Protection’s list of maintenance entities. Those companies don’t use TankVault yet, and we haven’t checked them.
- In Virginia, companies come from the state DPOR contractor license lists, matched to licensed onsite sewage operators; phone numbers and websites come from public business listings.
- We don’t rate or recommend any company. Ask for their license and a price before they come out.
- Near Me measures in a straight line from the middle of your ZIP code or city to the company’s town (or the middle of its county when we don’t know the town). Driving distance is longer. Many companies drive farther than this, so call and ask.
- Want a company you like to use TankVault? Tap Ask Them to Join TankVault on their listing, and we’ll email them once. We send each company at most one note a month, so after someone asks you’ll see Invite Sent for a month.
